Karen Cubides

Co-Founder and Creative director  

Karen Cubides is the founder and CEO of Karen Cubides Agency, a boutique consulting and marketing firm based in Miami FL. Her work supports musicians, universities, entrepreneurs, and organizations navigating growth, visibility, and reinvention through strategic branding, marketing, and education.

Karen’s approach is holistic and strategy-driven. She works at the intersection of personal clarity and professional positioning, helping clients articulate who they are, what they offer, and how they want to show up in the world. Whether guiding an artist through a career transition, supporting a university’s recruiting efforts, or advising an entrepreneur building a values-driven brand, her work is grounded in long-term sustainability rather than short-term tactics.

Karen founded her agency early in her career out of a deep empathy for the people she worked alongside and admired—particularly within the music and arts ecosystem. She believes that meaningful careers do not have to come at the expense of personal well-being, integrity, or creativity. That belief continues to shape her work across industries, informing an approach that considers the whole individual or organization, not just performance metrics or visibility goals.

Over time, Karen’s strategic frameworks naturally extended beyond the arts. She works with founders, builders, educators, and organizations applying the same rigor and clarity she brings to her work with musicians and institutions. Across contexts, the throughline remains the same: thoughtful strategy, clear communication, and foundations that support lasting growth.

An avid educator and frequent speaker, Karen regularly lectures on branding, marketing, and career sustainability. She has appeared at institutions including the New England Conservatory, Colburn School, Curtis Institute of Music, Eastman School of Music, and Boston Conservatory, among others. One of her greatest passions is supporting individuals during periods of transition, particularly as emerging professionals move from training into practice.

Jen Cubides

Co- Founder and Director of operations

Jen Cubides is a bilingual educational leader and operations strategist with over a decade of experience in education, program development, and client centered project management. With a B.A. in Elementary Education and Global Studies and an M.A. in Reading Specialist Licensure from Lesley University, she is deeply committed to building systems that support growth, connection, and clarity for both students and professionals. 

Currently, Jen serves as the Director of Operations at the Karen Cubides Agency, a Miami based consulting and marketing firm, where she supports a dynamic roster of clients across creative, educational, and entrepreneurial industries. In this role, she leads internal and client facing operations with a strong focus on infrastructure building, workflow development, and sustainable project execution. Her contributions have included designing onboarding systems, automating client processes, mapping strategic growth goals, and overseeing complex timelines all while maintaining a high touch approach rooted in clarity and communication. Her ability to balance vision with execution has empowered creatives, coaches, educators, and businesses to move forward with confidence and structure.

Prior to this, Jen served as Director of Academics at TPH Academy, where she oversaw the educational experience for over 400 student-athletes across grades 5–12. There, she led a team of 15, supported curriculum implementation, and ensured students remained NCAA eligible throughout their academic careers. She played a national leadership role, mentoring other “Directors of Academics” at locations across the country to refine systems, improve consistency, and drive success. Under her leadership, TPH saw the recruitment of over 300 students valued at more than $5 million. She was able to establish strong academic partnerships with organizations including the Nashville Soccer Club academy and the Nashville Jr. Predators.

Her career began in the classroom, where she taught fourth grade and supported students with learning and behavioral differences. From Cambridge to Nashville to now Miami, she has continuously sought ways to elevate educational systems and advocate for students, families, and clients alike.

Above all, Jen is passionate about making complex systems approachable. Whether in a school, an agency, or an organizational setting, she brings clarity to chaos, turns ideas into tangible plans, and helps people and programs grow in meaningful, sustainable ways.
